The Pop Star Embraces a Hell Version of Herself in Fictional Documentary Teaser

Charli XCX is getting ready for a substantial film presence in 2026, kicking off with the mockumentary titled The Moment.

Within the project, the artist portrays what she refers to as a twisted version of herself.

It’s the truest representation of the music industry that I’ve ever witnessed, the star stated.

She clarified in a conversation: This isn’t a concert film, however the inspiration stemmed from the demand to produce one.

A Glimpse into The Moment

The first teaser, released on recently, combines authentic footage from Charli’s Sweat tour with imagined backstage scenes.

The Moment is directed and co-written by Aidan Zamiri, who revealed that the narrative focuses on a reality where the singer opted for alternate decisions in the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.

A Hectic Acting Schedule

This project is a single one of numerous future movie projects for the musician, who has starred in three independent movies in the current year.

She also joined to appear in Dakota Johnson’s first film as director A Tree in Blue.

Score Contributions

Next February will also bring the launch of the director’s interpretation of Wuthering Heights, which will feature fresh tracks from the singer.

She will also compose the score for the film Mother Mary, with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, set to be released in the coming year.

The film is scheduled to debut on January 30.
